[ on christmas eve, peggy carter delivers the only present this season that she conjures, boxes, and gifts without any prior prompting or without receiving anything from tony first. rather than leave it outside his door, she somehow (somehow) finds her way inside and leaves the box (tied and bow'd) in plain sight.
the gifts within are reverently placed, but simple. they are, by definition, the auntiest of gifts: wool socks, a tin of chocolates, and a single christmas orange. ]

that's the first thing he hears from FRIDAY when he enters his room and honestly, it's the only reason why he doesn't panic. she'd have alerted him to an intruder once the person stepped in.
that she didn't showed that she was familiar with the person who walked indoors. and there are only a few people in wonderland who know FRIDAY.
he looks at the box and opens it, looks at the socks, picks up the orange and nibbles on a chocolate. tony stark sits down, looks at his presents and smiles.

there's a box, too, resting on the bed. inside there's a simple toaster, of all things and a note.
